Do I stay on top of the boat and get electrocuted, or do I jump over by the shark and not get electrocuted?” Trump ultimately concluded: “I’ll take electrocution every time. I’m not getting near the shark.” And the MAGA “Morans” want this clown as their next president???

The Cannes Conundrum...

It’s almost Cannes time... When I first attended Cannes to pick up my first Lion, back in my Mad Man days of the nineteen sixties. No one rented mega-yachts, hotels were reasonable and the hookers on the Croissette didn’t charge an arm and a leg for a bit of arm and leg. Ther were four categories. Print, radio, TV and Outdoors. Entry fees were cheaper than the aforementioned hookers and a good time was had by all. Now, there are a thousand categories, and the fees are outrageous. Now, it’s just a giant money-making machine and the winners are little more than multi=million dollar “Brand Ambassador's” collecting their humungous paychecks and moving on. 

The arm is a grand. The leg is extra. 

Good news is bad news.

Those wise old owls of the financial woodlands... America's economists, had predicted that the economy would add 180,000 jobs in May. Last week we got the numbers and job growth more than exceeded expectations with 272,000 new jobs added. Not to mention that wage growth was also up. Obviously, the main street media then decided that Big Job Gains Are Bad for Biden! CNN: “Here’s the ‘bad news’ in the ‘good’ jobs report.” The Hill: “Strong jobs report presents conundrum for Biden.” And the New York Times: “Biden Has a Historically Strong Job Market. It May Not Be Enough.” As expected, Fox said fuck all. Imagine what the headlines would have been if the report was below expectations or, God forbid, showed job loss?

News that Jeff Bezos owns three private jets worth a total of $140 million comes as no surprise, his girlfriend's figurehead on his yacht fleet command boat probably cost more than that! What is surprising is that the smallest plane, a Swiss built Pilatus PC-24 has a toilet in the galley. Obviously in order to supply “Shit Hot” food... Ouch, fucking ouch!!! 

I’ll bet it’s not gold like mine.
