I am trying to post every day from my rehab dungeon, which doesn't out even have a bar!!! And I am using an old laptop that my pal Al has lent me. But at home, I have a Cray in the cellar run by my assistant, Igor. So. I fuck everything up here without Igor. . Bear with me. And I’ll sort this shit out.

Mary... Mary.... Not Contrary!!!

Sad to hear the news that Mary Wells Lawrence, the kick ass Mad Men-era creative icon and agency owner, died on Saturday in London at the age of 95. There are not many of us old geezers left. I had the pleasure of working with Mary at Tinker. She certainly had balls and produced great work at DDB, and Tinker before founding   WRG. Also worked with her first husband Bert at B&B, back in the sixties. Will write more when I get out of this fucking bed!

I'm still here!!!

Last Friday I had a very bad acident. Broke four ribs and fractured my pelvis. was in hospital for three days, now in rehab. No, not the drug one! As soon as I am able I shall blog on a regular basis. Til then... No booze or fags. Thanks for all your mesages and thoughts, Back to normal in a week or two.
