Conservative pundits have condemned the South Dakota governor and possible Der Trumpf running mate Kristi Noem, amid widespread horror over her admission in a new book that she killed both an “untrainable” dog and an unruly goat during a single day in hunting season. Nothing in the second amendment about not shooting dogs. In fact, you can shoot anything. Even someone on Fifth Avenue and get away with it.

The world’s second richest man, Jeff Bezos, tells us that he isn’t a fan of “Time Blocking,” instead preferring “Mind Wandering.” I have no fucking idea what either of those bollocky statements mean. Apparently, it has something to do with more efficiently scheduling the best use of your time. Hey Jeff, I have an idea, why not just cut down on the weeks you spend sailing to exotic locations in your yacht fleet accompanied by your uber-botoxed prow figurehead fiance.

That’s why it came as no surprise to me to read that a Belgian man has been acquitted of drunk-driving because he has auto-brewery syndrome (ABS), an extremely rare condition whereby the body produces alcohol. His lawyer also informed the court that in “another unfortunate coincidence” her client worked at a brewery.

Apparently, enthusiasm for the $3,500 Apple vision Pro gizmo is dropping at an alarming rate. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman... “Demand for demos is way down. People who do book appointments often don't show up, and sales — at least at some locations — have gone from a couple of units a day to just a handful in a whole week. Apple also has had to step up the marketing on its online homepage. There's a huge promo for the Vision Pro at the top of the website — the most aggressive pitch since the device went on sale in early February.” They should consider what happened to the Lisa when it launched at $10,000, and that’s 1983 dollars.
It’s just a piddling ten grand.
