I have a piece in today’s MoreAboutAdvertising talking about the passing last month of Ted Bell who was CD at Y&R New York when I permalanced there for three years on Xerox and other accounts. He went on to become a bestselling author of spy thrillers featuring Alex Hawke, a British billionaire secret agent, which was an obvious “Homage” to Ian Fleming’s James Bond, even though Bond was never a billionaire, but he certainly pulled the birds. I must confess... I was not a fan of Ted’s.
Still... You can’t love everyone.
