She is about to produce a film about herself and Lucian Freud, the acclaimed British painter who died in 2011. Titled Moss & Freud, the film is set to be a dramatized account about an experience Moss considers one of the most important of her career: Her nude portrait session with Freud when she was pregnant with her daughter Lila in 2002. The nearly life-size work, went on to sell for £3.9 million at Christie’s. Freud was also the one who tattooed the two little birds above her arse. When he was dying of AIDS, she snuggled up to him on his deathbed. What a loverrrrrly gal!!!

Insanity in the Metaverse!

I choked on my breakfast beer (Yes, again. I must get myself a bib) when I read over at MediaPost that “Brands Ride High in the Metaverse.” Amongst those listed is Gucci, who launched its first NFT in May 2021, and a virtual replica of the Gucci Dionysus bag sold for more than $4,000 on gaming platform Roblox. Proving how fucked up everything is becoming, you can actually buy the real thing for $3,400! Or, if you live in New York you can pop down to Canal Street in China Town and get an actual replica Gucci for fifty bucks. That’s where I used to go to buy all my fifty buck Rolex's.

Sorrell’s Sack Cloth and Ashes...

S4 Capital issued its 2021 Annual Report this week and the Poisoned Dwarf in his letter to shareholders strenuously sought to downplay growth expectations given recent huge reversals on the macroeconomic front. His Gnomeship said that events and circumstances have developed to create a “perfect storm” that will dampen the “strong bounce-back previously expected this year and over the horizon in 2023 the clouds look even darker.” Oh, fucking dear. Blame for the recent delays in the release of financials was attributed to control weaknesses, inadequate documentation and a lack of understanding in the application of the accounting standards. That’s quite a mea culpa and quite a different tune from the “COVID interfered with our gathering of the numbers” excuse that the company initially blamed for the delay. And, never forget, Sorrell is a bean counter by training and inclination. His first job in the ad biz was CFO of Saatchi.

Mind you, my personal finances are in great shape.

The world’s richest douchenozzle, Elon Musk, has announced that he will vote Republican during the next election cycle. The tech billionaire said that he historically voted Democrat in the past, but now claims that Democrats are a party of "division and hate." He posted on Twitter yesterday saying... “In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party, but they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican. Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold.” What alternative Universe does this wanker live in?

Did you see the news that the company buying Der Trumpf's social network for fucktards, Truth Social, has warned investors about the former president's history of bankruptcies and business failures? In a regulatory filing Monday, Digital World Acquisition Corp highlighted the bankruptcies of Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Plaza, and Trump Castle, and the failures of Trump University, Trump Vodka, and Trump Steaks, among many, many others. Which raises the obvious question... Then why the fuck are you buying it?

Sorrell, back on the acquisition trail...

After the recent kerfuffle when the Poisoned Dwarf’s S4Capital delayed its financials three times, he’s back to his old habits with the acquisition of London based, tech services company, TheoremOne. This will be his thirtieth buy in less than four years. Mind you, he’s got a long way to go to equal his WPP record of 600 buys in thirty years. The vast majority of which soon disappeared after the principals had cashed out and moved on. Amazingly, one of the few that has survived is the actual Wire and Plastic Products company, which he bought in 1985 to serve as the launching pad for his evil empire. They still make wire shopping baskets and teapots!!!

I’ll show them. S4Capital is getting into, and will completely take over the global wheelbarrow market!!!

How’s my driving?

Over at MediaPost there’s an article headlined... “IPG’s Mediahub gets a ‘Lyft’ with latest AOR assignment.” It gives us all the boring details on what the rideshare company will spend and how it will work with IPG data company Acxiom to develop “high-value” audiences for the brand that can be reached through addressable channels. I have no fucking idea what that means. But what did make me sit up and spill my breakfast beer was the accompanying picture. So, Lyft drivers are texting, checking email and watching porn, whilst driving their fares!

Nancy Hill, a lady of great spirit!

Interesting to read that Nancy Hill, former CEO of the 4A’s, has been named CEO at Cleveland based agency, Marcus Thomas. Nancy is a very bright and intelligent lady who did a great job for the 4A’s. Proof being that one year she invited me to give a speech at their annual conference taking place that year in San Francisco. This, in spite of the fact that the year before I had described the conference as a “Giant Wankfest!”

Sorrell in the shit!!!

Over at MoreAboutAdvertising, we are informed that... “Sir Martin Sorrell’s S4Capital takes more heavy fire.” Apparently, the Sunday Times ran an article kicking the shit out of the Poisoned Dwarf’s BDHC wannabe. MAA tells us that just as damaging were the suggestions that Sorrell is still obsessed by seeking revenge on WPP – the company he founded and which kicked him out – and that MediaMonks, now the umbrella brand for S4’s activities, was modelling itself on fabled ad series Mad Men. Does that mean everyone will be smoking, boozing and shagging their brains out? Perhaps they should consider moving corporate headquarters to Shepherds Market!

Saudi sucks...

For all the MAGA “Morans” out there blaming President Biden for increased prices at the gas pump. Why don’t you check out the news today that Oil giant Aramco just reported a more-than 80% jump in net profit. The Saudi Arabian behemoth said net income rose 82% to $39.5 billion in the first three months of the year, up from $21.7 billion over the same period last year. The Aramco results reflect an ongoing rip-off by the oil and gas industry, which has benefited from a more-than 45% increase in prices since the start of the year. Not to be outdone, earnings from Aramco’s fellow fucktards such as BP and Shell also have hit their highest level in years.
