Shocking news from the Physics Phantasmagoria. Scientists just outside Chicago have found that the mass of a sub-atomic particle is not what it should be. The measurement is the first conclusive experimental result that is at odds with one of the most important and successful theories of modern physics. The team has found that the particle, known as a W boson, is more massive than the theories predicted. Physicists have known for some time that the theory needs to be updated. It can't explain the presence of invisible material in space, called Dark Matter, nor the continued accelerating expansion of the Universe by a force called Dark Energy. Nor can it explain gravity. In fact, it can explain fuck all. However, my good friend Al, the “Failed Physicist” will explain it to me over beers.

Oreos are “out” for MAGA “Morans.”

Now you can add the humble Oreo cookie to the long and growing list of ordinary bits of Americana that the self-declared MAGA “Morans” are now are being told to shun. All cos’ the MAGA “Morans” are mad at the brand for sponsoring a pro-LGBTQ short film, so they are calling on their fucktard followers to "boycott" the “Gay Cookies.” However, their inability to understand how boycotts work was hilariously illustrated last week when Republican Ohio Senate candidate J.D. Vance tweeted that he intended to "boycott" Disney. The very next day, however, he gushed on and on about how much he loves "Star Wars," which is owned by Disney. 

And then there’s "Gay Wars.”

There’s a piece in today’s MediaPost... “Havas Group acquires Search Laboratory.” Which is a digital agency focused on data. We are told that the company supports clients through Google Analytics 360, Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360, Tag Manager, Data Studio, and more. Services also include search engine optimization, programmatic display, social media, and website translation. Their advanced data and analytics services will enable clients to better activate and extract strategic value from their first-party data. I have no fucking idea what any of that means. Can you imagine working there? You’d have to drink lots of booze and do a ton of Ganja to get through the day.

Female Fucktard, Marjorie Taylor Greene has once again surpassed herself in a demonstration of ugly ignorance. She has called Romney and Sens. Lisa Murkowski, of Alaska, and Susan Collins, of Maine, “pro-pedophile” in a Twitter rant. “Any Senator voting to confirm #KJB is pro-pedophile just like she is. There are MANY more qualified black women judges, that actually can define what a woman is, but Biden chose the one that protects evil child predators. And then Romney, Murkowski, and Collins vote for her,” Greene wrote in a series of tweets Monday. These were made on her official Twitter account. Her personal one was shut down some time ago because of its despicable Trumpian bullshit. I wonder if she’s on the waiting list for a Truth Social account?

So, the MAGA “Moran” truckers who were camped on a dirt racetrack at Hagerstown outside Washington DC for three weeks have left. After performing loops around the Beltway for its first week, convoy organizers, whose COVID-related demands kept shifting as mandates increasingly began ending regardless of their demands, they finally managed to arrange meetings with a handful of Republican douchenozzles: These included the usual suspects... Ted Cruz and Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, as well as House Republicans Matt Gaetz of Florida, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, and Thomas Massie of Kentucky. I’m sure that did them a lot of good. It’s like the insane talking to the insane.

Because I love to flog a dead horse, or in this case, a soon to be dead horse. Get your arse over to this piece on Daily Kos... “Late stage capitalism: Trump is on course to pocket the “Truth Social” money.” It explains in wonderful detail that this is yet another scam engineered to suck out dollars from the MAGA “Morans.” Because Der Trumpf has already gotten paid and has no more intention of building a real social network than he had of operating a viable airline or running a legitimate university.  He never intended “Truth Social” to be a real site, so all of you who are fretting about how Devin Nunes could possibly manage the site can put your minds at ease.  It was just another scam, and Nunes is the perfect guy for that — an ultra-obedient lapdog who could face the prison risk instead of Trump. JP Morgan could lose over one billion dollars from its Russian Exposure, Chief Executive Jamie Dimon said on Monday, detailing the extent of the bank's potential losses from the conflict in Ukraine. This will mean working to maintain profitability through significant cost saving procedures. Obviously, this will not affect the multi-million mega-bonuses paid to the bank’s senior management. Here’s an idea... Jamie has a net worth of several billion. Why doesn’t he throw an odd billion into the pot?

News just in from Reuters that two key tech executives have quit Truth Social because of its truly fucked and almost non-existent launch. Josh Adams and Billy Boozer – (What a great name for a fucktard working for Der Trumpf) the company’s chiefs of technology and product development - joined the disastrous venture last year and quickly became central players in its bid to build a social-media empire. That worked well, didn’t it. In true Trumpian business practices, I’ll bet they will be owed money forever. “Cos shit happens when you work for Der Obergropenfuhrer. Guaranteed.

Truth ain’t very social!!!

Updating the grim news for Der Trumpf’s disastrous Truth Social, a piece on the Daily Beast tells us that it has plummeted to the 28th most popular social media platform in Apple’s App Store, lagging behind the likes of more obscure social networks like “Wizz,” “BeReal,” and “Bloomer-random video chat.” It also references data showing that downloads of the app have crashed from a peak of 170,000 downloads a day to just 8,000 now. The app is now just the 355th most popular app on Apple devices overall. Daily active users stood at just 513,000 as of last week. By contrast, daily active users at Twitter were around 217 million. I guess Truth Social will soon be joining the long, long list of Der Obergropenfuhrer’s business failures.

As a Sunday brightener, here’s a loverrrrrly story about No. 492, an African flamingo that escaped from the Sedgwick County Zoo in Kansas in 2005, was seen in Calhoun County, Texas, in 2019. Now, it’s reported a Texas fisherman spotted the bird again this month. Apparently, Flamingos can live up to forty year! It makes a pleasant change from all the shit that’s currently taking place around the fucked up  globe.
