Last week I did a post about a British campaign for pot noodles with the headline... “Proud to announce: No longer crap.” As I pointed out, no American client or their BDA, would ever have the balls to run something that honest. Now I have a topper. My favorite UK Agency, Mellor & Smith just launched a campaign for “Fat Lad At The Back,” a line of clothing for people who happen to be a tad portly, but still love to ride their bikes. For some strange reason, it’s creating a bit of a fuss. Something to do with their choice of language. No wonder the that the tag line for the agency is... Start your fire!
