I’m sure most of my readers know that Boxing Day, the day after Christmas is celebrated in Britain and most of what used to be the British Commonwealth as a national holiday. Wikipedia tells us that it is an old British tradition where the servants of the wealthy were allowed the next day to visit their families since they would have had to serve their masters on Christmas Day. The Toffs would give each servant a box to take home containing gifts, bonuses, and sometimes, even the munificence of leftover food. Most people these days simply use it as an excuse to stay well and truly pissed. I’ll drink to that.

Trump Talks Shit Repeatedly.

If you ever needed further proof that Der Trumpf is a cretin, read this piece on Yahoo News about his upcoming media company fiasco. The one that will be run by cow shagger Devin Nunes. Der Obergropenfuhrer, babbles and repeats himself endlessly. He also promises that “Trump-Talk” will be up and running by the end of the first quarter of 2022. Based on his business track record, it will probably file for bankruptcy before the year is out.

You will be over the moon to hear the wonderful news that Elon Musk has sold enough Tesla shares to pay his taxes. The world’s richest geezer added some context via Twitter. "This assumes completion of the 10b sale," he said. Tesla filings show Musk has been exercising stock options that expire next year under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan. Whatever the fuck that is. He sold a further 583,611 shares on Tuesday. This means he has now sold 13.5 million shares in total. Tesla shares traded as high as 1,243.49 on Nov. 4 but is now nearly 20% off its 52-week high, selling for a paltry $1010 a share... Which is still a shitload of money.

So, Der Trumpf is going to hold a news conference on January 6^th. The one-year anniversary of the invasion of the Capitol that he was responsible for. Apparently the “News Conference” will consist of nothing more than his repetitious blather claiming that the event was a peaceful demonstration, and that the real insurrection took place when Biden won the presidency on the 3^rd. of November by a margin of millions of votes. There will be nothing new, and there will probably be no questions allowed. If the news media had any sense, they would boycott the whole thing. But they won’t, ‘cos they are fucktards.

A few weeks ago, I posted about the insane launch of Arby’s 80 proof Curly and Crinkle-Fries flavored vodka. Selling for a mere $59.99 a bottle, it sold out in days, proving that the American public will buy anything no matter how stupid it is. However, if you missed out on that deal... Good news... Now Lays is launching a Vodka made from the same spuds as it’s chips. And this one’s a steal at a mere $40. Here in Idaho we are planting even more spuds than usual. I might even switch my breakfast beer to a breakfast vodka. Cheers!!!

And proudly proclaiming that your organization is “data-driven” is not just a given, it’s a mandate. Firstly, data helps inform the decisions you make leading to your strategy development and gives substance to its abstraction. Second, metrics provide direction for strategy activation, helping you optimize your execution.” Well put. But then, as he points out... ”Data can be unclean -- or worse, misleading or meaningless.”  Worth a read.

It would seem that every commercial currently being shot has to have a star in it. Either a sports star, or a show biz star. With virtually no exceptions, they are all a colossal pile of shit. The latest example features Kate Hudson high on cocktails made with Cann, a THC infused cannabis drink laced with her own brand of King St. Vodka (How many “Stars” currently have a brand of vodka?) She, ex-footballer, Baron Davis and soon to be ex-actor, Darren Criss, get high, get pissed, and get embarrassingly stupid. Coming off as complete fucktards. It’s a total waste of time. Not to mention money.

If you consider that Der Trumpf’s and Bill O’Rilley’s “History Tour” charade events have been far less than sell-outs and the fact that the one in Dallas engendered boos from the unmasked crowd when O'Reilly asked Der Trumpf if he'd received a booster shot, Trump responded, "Yes." "I got it, too," O'Reilly added, after which the crowd began to boo. "Don't, don't, don't," Trump said to the crowd. "That's alright, it's a very tiny group up there," he added, pointing to a section of the crowd. Would that tiny group be the same tiny group that showed up for your less than a sell-out inauguration? Ya think the shine is wearing off?

You will be heartbroken to hear that the World Economic Forum for bloated plutocrats planned to take place in Davos next month has been postponed due to Omicron fears for the second year running. This means that for a second January in a row, the pandemic has defeated the WEF’s ability to host the gathering of executives, bankers, academics, policy makers, douchenozzles and fucktards it has convened in the Swiss Alps for five decades. In normal times, 3,000 or so would attend the combination of debates and cocktail parties. After arriving in their private jets and being chauffeured to their five-star hotels, they would discuss such important topics as global warming and world poverty whilst noshing on caviar washed down by copious amounts of 1945 Chateau Lafitte Rothschild.
