I’ve always been an admirer of the consistently fine work Ogilvy has done for IBM over the years. (Disclosure: I permalanced on the account for a long time, reporting to mates Bill Hamilton and Steve Haydon, and even winning a “David Ogilvy Award” for an IBM campaign… He said modestly!) Anyway, I love the two ads they have produced for the Oscars featuring Watson talking to Ridley Scott about film making and Carrie Fisher hosting a support group for outdated robots… Listen for Steve Buscemi doing the VO for Crow T. Robot. And am I the only one who sees the irony of “Rid” being featured in an IBM spot… Remember, in Ridley’s 1984, it was all about the Mac taking things back from “Big Blue.”
Why would you not expect a "Kate-Bot" on a Friday?
