Ace Ad-Writer, Noreen O’Leary tells us that insurance company, New York Life, is launching a creative review. The $74 million account is currently at Havas Worldwide, who have managed to do boring, totally expected work since they picked up the biz in 2011. They deserve to lose it. When I disembarked from the Queen Mary in the 60’s, my first job was at B&B and big time insurance company Mutual of New York (MONY) was one of my first accounts. So, what the fuck you say… ‘Cos prior to becoming Head-Nozzle at Interpublic, Michael Roth was CEO of MONY. So, isn’t this guy going to go apeshit to pick up an insurance account that he knows inside and fucking out? Look for my good mates, FCB CEO, Carter Murray, and FCB New York CEO Lee Garfinkel to be heading up the charge on this one. I will lay big money on them to scoop this up… And have I ever been wrong???
Insurance makes me wet!
