Remember the truly awful spots I posted about last week that Wieden did for Old Spice… The ones with giant cobs of congealed snot hanging from the arm pits of semi-naked men… I said W+K should be ashamed of themselves for producing such cretinous drivel. Well, they must have heard, ‘cos they just broke a new campaign called “Different Scents.” Which is still fucking dumb… But at least it’s not gross. Obviously, both the client and the agency regard their target audience as a bunch teen aged churls who are obsessed with sex, fast food and getting rid of their acne. In other words, the classic CP+B target audience.
