In the "You can't make this shit up" column, It would seem that Australian pub boozers occasionally while away an idle hour monitoring drug smuggling and illegal immigration on the US southern border over the Internet. The UK's Guardian quotes Don Reay of the Texas Border Sheriffs' Coalition, referring to his organization's webcam stool-pigeon resource, as saying: "We had folks send an email saying, 'Hey mate, we've been watching your border for you from the pub in Australia'." Only in fucking Oz, which has more pubs than people, would you get something as bizarre as this... Although when you consider the crime busting webcams are mounted along the US-Mexico line in fucking Texas, I'm not surprised. What has this got to do with advertising? Only that the "BlueServo" company which hosts this operation plans to run TV ads on the feeds that go to Oz... Un-fucking-believable... Wait 'til it's on Twitter!
I'm here for the shrimp!
