You guys still don't get it do you? I'm not saying you necessarily have to use every fucking product your agency handles. Even though David Ogilvy believed that you should. And yes, he would have driven a Skoda (Although, I am sure it would have been around the grounds of the chateau, he would have driven to the chateau in the "Roller.") He even wore suits from Sears! No, my point is... If you are creating ads for a campaign titled "I am a PC." which is supposed to persuade the punters to switch from Macs to PC's and use MS software. Isn't it disingenuous, if not downright dishonest to produce them on Macs? As "Pop" says... "if you are producing the work using technology that is in direct competition with your client." And I know all the Mac bigots are going to shout me down, but you can do everything on a high-end PC these days that you can do on a Mac. Standing by for the brickbats. Oh and "OY," no one lived in Manhattan lofts in the 60's. That was where people made shirts or stored shit. Lofts didn't get trendy and uber fucking pricey 'till the late seventies and early eighties.
Mr Ogilvy, your limousine is at the door!
