Pretty fucking acidic take on CP+B's loss of Nike by one of my favorite sites, MarketingVox. I also love 'em, 'cos they gave me the credit for breaking the story... Toot, Toot, Fucking Toot! Apart from hammering the single TV spot that CP+B produced in the thirteen month relationship, they point out other losses, including "Deadenbacher." They also observe that Nike has been known to sow its oats among many agencies at once, and Crispin's track record is decidedly imperfect. Hey, CP+B freaks, they said it not me... Oh yeah, I have said it, several fucking times! 'Cos it's true. Love the sign off though... Crispin's Alex Bogusky appeared on the front page of Fast Company's June issue beside the hopeful headline, "Can this dude make Microsoft cool?" Given its failure to convert on Nike, it may be too soon to tell. Ouch, fucking ouch. Can't wait to see the Microsoft work though... Maybe they'll do a zombie Subservient Butterfly! Cool dudes!!! Give me five!
