My pal Paul Benjou is blogging from the AAAA conference today and tomorrow. The usual gang of deadbeats are there going on about digital, data, metrics and yada, yada, yada. As I posted on Bruce's site... Am I the only one that sees the irony of the first day's business finishing up with a breakout session titled... "Consumers are the new media" at a conference being held in one of the world's most outrageously expensive fucking hotels... The Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel? I expect tomorrow's Mimosa fueled breakfast session will deal with... "How to reach the average Wal-Mart shopper!" No wonder this business is fucked.
