This is a shortened version of an internal memo out of Draft/FCB last Friday... My comments in bold...
Today we are delighted to announce that we've won the digital assignment for SkyTeam, an alliance of 10 member airlines around the world. We won the pitch as a true global effort (must have been inspired by the "throbbing globe" header on their inter-office bullshit) between the Paris and New York offices, who joined together to quickly answer an RFP. An office visit and formal presentation followed, and the good news came shortly thereafter. This is our entrée into the airlines category and proof that our digital capability is as competitive as ever. We made the cut from nine agencies to four and then beat strong competition from Digitas and Razorfish in the U.S. as well as France's Nurun. (Shouldn't that be NoBu?) We'll be helping SkyTeam redesign their web site to make it more useful and relevant for international business travelers. The ultimate goal is to make life easier for travelers through online technology. (So, you're designing a fucking Web site.) Imagine being able to click on a list of in-flight movies days before your flight, so you can pack a DVD if you've already seen the featured film, or checking the menu pre-flight to see if you should eat at the airport instead. (Wow, this is breakthrough shit!) This win was powered by great thinking, a great strategy and great execution. (Fucking great!) Our digital work continues to drive growth and create new opportunities. Congratulations to everyone involved. (You will not be laid off 'til next week.)

Boy, these fuckers are on a roll. What's next... Cocktail napkins and book match covers?
Fuck... Now I know when to pack my audio book version of MadScam when I fly... God bless you Draft/FCB!
