After spending six years fucking up Home depot, big time, CEO Bob Nardelli finally got his ass kicked out of there. Mind you he did get paid about $30 million a year for each of those years, while the stock went nowhere. So, as is usually with just about every Board of Directors of every publicly traded company in the US, they decided to soften the blow of pink slipping him with a going-away Golden Parachute of $210 million. Jesus, where do I apply for one of these jobs… I can fuck up a company just as well as anyone, probably better. What I loved in the company statement announcing the dismissal was that Nardelli had agreed not to compete with the company for a year. Well shit, if I had a few hundred million in the bank, I wouldn’t compete with anyone, ever! But you know what? In a year he’ll re-surface somewhere, being paid millions to fuck up another company. Why do Americans put up with this shit? I guess if you want the quick answer to that question, you only have to look at The White House.
