I don’t quite know why I am posting about this, ‘cos it has nothing to do with advertising… But, I think it’s fucking great, and it’s my blog… So, live with it… Remember when people started the whole “Evil Bert” thing based on the Sesame Street character. There was a Web parody site "Bert is Evil," which first appeared around 1996. The site had a big collection of doctored photos depicting Bert as an evil madman working alongside villains like Hitler and grand dragons of the KKK.. Boy, it really pissed off the people at Sesame Street who said, “We're outraged our characters are being used in this unfortunate and distasteful manner. This is not humorous. The people responsible for this should be ashamed of themselves.” Well, wait ‘til they see “Rocket Team Vatsaas!” Three lunatic brothers who’ve turned a bunch of Evil Bert dolls into rockets! That’s right… Five G-cluster rockets all constructed out of vintage Muppets puppets purchased on eBay. There’s even a transvestite Evil Bert rocket. Go to the Web site, check it out. It’s hilarious.
