I had to laugh at the news that "Otto" has gone down the drain... In case you didn't know, "Otto" is the $700 smart lock aimed at idiots with more apps than brains. The device would have allowed owners one-touch, key-less access to their homes via Bluetooth and a phone app—though there's also the option to enter a PIN number. It features marine-grade 316 stainless steel construction, a backup unit for powering the lock if the main battery runs dry, and the ability to allow friends and family to enter a home via the app. This whole ridiculous idea was created by a bunch of former Apple, Microsoft and Nokia fucktards. No doubt their next attempt at producing something only douchenozzles want to buy will be an even bigger failure.
On the other hand, there's "Sherlock" for $60.
