Back in the old days agencies were usually named after their founders, sometimes relying on their initials… TBWA made sense, as the multi-national founder’s names were unpronounceable. Then ‘cos they think they are really fucking clever, agencies started to come up with daft names like “Mother,” Yeah, they produced good work, but why “Mother?” Anyway, it would appear we have reached the end of the road with the news that Utah based agency, Sorenson Advertising has renamed itself… “Relic.” Yes, you can’t make this shit up! At least you can figure out what “AdScam” means.
