Following on from my last post about the fucktardliness of Cannes, today’s MoreAboutAdvertising has a nice piece about John Webster of BMP picking his ten Desert Island Ads. The fact that John has been dead for ten years makes it even more poignant. He picks ten ads from a competitive agency (CDP) for one product… Hamlet Cigars…. That are classics, and sold a shitload of cigars. They’re all on MAA, including my favorite “Comb Over,” directed by my old mate, Graham Rose. Go view the whole thing… And if you have to ask who John Webster is… You’re a douchenozzle!
