Ever since IBM gave Ogilvy its global account (without a review!) in 1995, the agency has produced consistently great work for them. From the early "Solutions for a small planet" to the current stuff for "Watson at work." A campaign that shows off a number of different scenarios, from ordering an elevator repair before it’s needed to helping E&J Gallo Wineries manage irrigation to grow better grape crops. The spots continue to give Watson a personality, in one case having it mimic a missing Australian energy plant worker’s slang. Kudos to Ogilvy... Disclosure... Did a lot of work freelancing on IBM at Ogilvy, including campaigns that won a Gold and Silver EFFIE, and the David Ogilvy Award. The one that came with a $10,000 prize that I didn't get 'cos I was a freelancer. Fuck it... I made a shitload of money, anyway.
Gold baby... Gold!
