As they have pissed off many of their big spending advertisers with their positioning of ads next to snuff films and bestiality videos, Well, YouTube doesn’t want to lose all those luverrrrly ad dollars. So, they are starting to let advertisers see where their spots are going to be running on the site. Google is giving ad-buying giant GroupM a list of all the YouTube channels that are part of Google’s preferred advertising program. This will allow GroupM to figure out in advance where its clients’ ads should run on YouTube. Personally, until someone can give me proof that these wanky ads actually sell anything, I would rather spend my ad dollars in Vegas!
