Staying with the Unilever story earlier, the plan is to reduce overall spending by $4 to $6 billion dollars in the next three years, a big chunk of which will come from its $7 billion ad budget. Right now the Poisoned Dwarf must be having conniptions as WPP is responsible for a lot of that money. I guarantee you that even as we speak, "Team Unilever" will be being formed, margins will be shaved to the bone, and massive layoffs will be planned.
