Looks like the four hundred year relationship between Apple and TBWA is getting a bit wobbly with the news that Apple is restructured its relationship with the agency, to focus more on creating digital and regional campaigns—and less on translating, or “localizing,” big brand campaigns for global markets. Yes indeed, no more of that “Insanely Great Advertising” that GodJobs demanded. An agency Spokesnozzle explained, “TBWA\Media Arts Lab is reorganizing and introducing a new operating model to keep pace with the way people consume media and content. This will result in a reduction in areas such as localization and further investment in areas such as digital, social, data analytics, content creation and a more diverse set of strategic skills.” Steve would have had this fucktard hung, drawn and quartered for talking shit like that. Meantime TBWA is starting layoffs!
