On Friday I did a post about the sad loss of Judy Protas, one of the truly great “Mad Women” of the sixties. The New York Times had a full obit on Sunday. Unfortunately, it was only in the New York edition. For AdScamers living outside the Big Apple, you can read the whole thing here. What it points out is that whilst at DDB, New York, besides the work I mentioned in my earlier post, she was also responsible for the superb work on Cracker Jack, for which she even wrote the lyrics, and Levy’s Jewish Rye. A campaign that ran for twenty years and sold a shitload of bread! Mazel tov Judy!
Just a taster!
