As you know, over the years I have taken the piss out of the Poisoned Dwarf’s Gramercy Park love nest… A luxury New York apartment that Mr and Mrs Gnomeship use on their shopping trips to the Big Apple. As a WPP shareholder (yes, I still have my 5 shares, awarded to me when I won the David Ogilvy Award back before you were all born) I wonder if I could borrow it for the odd weekend? Highly fucking doubtful, right? Anyway Stephen Foster over at MoreAboutAdvertising, informs us that WPP’s London-based ‘post-conceptualisation and post-production’ business, has been named… Gramercy Park Studios. But, as far as Stephen can see, there’s no website up yet (just a holding page) even though the business seems to have started last December. We only have this description on creative director Ben Raven’s LinkedIn page: GPS is the next generation of creative studio hubs. Consolidating relationships between agencies, new and exciting clients delivering collective excellence in a continually and ever evolving advertising exposé. Well done, Ben. Spoken like a true BDHC/BDA shit spouting douchenozzle. Don’t know what kind of collective excellence I would expect from a company that can’t get its own fucking Web site up after six months. At least, Sir Martin’s last fiasco, Enfatico, did one campaign during its two year life. Unfortunately, it wasn’t for Dell, its single client. It was for itself. As a WPP shareholder, I’m still paying for it!
Hotels are for the bourgeoisie, dontcha think?
