Remember my post about The World’s Fastest Agency last week, the one started by Geordie and fellow Brit, Floyd Hayes that would solve briefs submitted on Twitter in 24 hours? As you would expect, they’ve just been “uped” by fellow Brits, Nick Entwistle and James Clancy who’ve launched a site, OneMinuteBriefs that promises to solve your direst advertising problems in 60 seconds or less. Or, as they put it, probably in a minute… “The beauty of One Minute Briefs is that the ideas that come out of them can be really, really, shit or really, really, good. But you've only spent one minute on it so it's all good whatever happens. We often find that the first idea you have is the best. We hope you'll all get involved...if you've got a minute.” Makes sense to me, as much as anything can, these days. Yeah, fuck all that “Big Data” shit. Put the first thing that crosses your mind down on a post-it note, shoot it off to the client, along with a big fucking invoice… Then retire to the boozer. You just know some BDHC is going to buy them for millions. Well done lads!
Meantime... Back at the BDA's!
