Super AdScamer, Gunnar, sent me this email this morning… “You must implore the entire ad industry, or what's left of it, to read Maureen Dowd's column today or suffer the same fate as Time magazine.” I just read it on-line… Gunnar is absolutely correct; it provides the perfect mirror image of what is happening to the ad agency business right now. The fucktards running the show are increasingly obsessed by the shiny sacks with bells and whistles, whilst forgetting that without the creative content we used to take a pride in, the sack is empty. I’m off to the supermarket immediately to get my daily hard copy of the NYT. The wagon train from Salt Lake City should have arrived by now, unless it was ambushed by Mormons… Or Nazis!
