Noreen O’Leary over at AdWeek has a splendid piece on the agonizing search for Boschetto’s replacement at Draft/FCB. It would seem that not too many people are anxious to step into his festering shoes, as he has presided over the destruction of the “Agency of the future.” Remember all those appalling videos Hughie, Dewey and Louie, backed by seventies disco music, put out at the time of the merger? (Which have all been removed from YouTube!) The ones claiming they were going to change the ad world through “Creative Rumbles” and other asinine shit. My, how times have changed. Whoever they hire, they will have to pay fucking dumpster loads of money. Plus giving them carte blanche to get rid of all the deadbeats Boschetto hired. I’ll do it for fifty million and another fifty for Kate as my PA!
Forty six days, and counting!!!
There's alway Donny!
