Joining Nike’s pantheon of sporting drug addicts, sex maniacs, dog fighters and general arseholes is Oscar Pistorius, the South African runner known as the “Blade Runner,” who is now under arrest for the alleged murder of his girlfriend. I have nothing to say on the case, but would just remind AdScamer’s of something I’ve said repeatedly, way too many of these endorsements come back to bite Nike in the arse. They just pulled an ad featuring Pistorius with a headline... "I am the bullet in the chamber!" But they keep on doing it. As I said in November, Phil Knight would sponsor Hitler if it sold sneakers.
