Remember the “Made Movement” that I posted about some months ago? Not having heard anything about them since the launch in March, I found a piece about them on the DenverEgotist… Lots of pictures of their new offices with thirty five employees and their fucking dogs frantically pinning paper on walls and leaning over each other’s shoulders pointing at monitor screens as they holistically ideate artisanal shit… But not a word on what they are actually working on “Ad-Wise.” So, I went over to their Web Site. Yeah, they’re still flogging outrageously expensive shit that’s made in the US… But again, not a word about the work. Lots of videos of Alex talking shit about how he intends to save the world. But no work, so what the fuck are these thirty five employees actually doing? You know something is wrong when AdAge hasn’t featured Alex “Top 10 Ad Man of AdAge” Bogusky flogging $1,400.00 Ghurka bags from the “MadeCollection.” As someone commented, their offices look like an Urban Outfitters store… Maybe that’s the point. So stop calling yourself a marketing agency, when you’re actually a shop. Anyway, it’s better than being a fucking “Shed!”
