You have to wonder just what the fuck is wrong with society these days. No, I’m not talking about advertising, ‘cos that’s always been fucked up. I mean just in general. I have learned to ignore the Kim K, Paris H and Snooki whatsits of popular culture… But now I read that Warner Bros. has just purchased the rights to "John McAfee's Last Stand," a story in Wired by Joshua Davis. Yeah, that’s the 168 year old, ex-software dude who supposedly shot his neighbor in Belize for complaining about his six hundred Rottweiler’s that were barking and shitting all over the poor guy’s property. Apparently, when the Belize police (all two of them) came to arrest him, he buried himself in the sand on the beach with a cardboard box over his head. Then he escaped with his two 14 year old mistresses to another Central American vacation paradise. Now he’s in Florida, the North American vacation hell. Anyway, the point of this rant is… It’s only a couple of months since all this shit went down, and a major film company has already bought the fucking film rights. Holy shit... Take it to Warp Factor Five, Scotty.
