It’s Saturday, so the ad biz is closed for the weekend. Except for all the poor fuckers out there working through Saturday and Sunday on a pitch for a piece of new business that deep down inside they know they have no fucking chance of winning, and even if by some miracle, they did win it, they would lose it in six months, ‘cos a new CMO comes in at the client end and wants to hire his buddies at his old agency… The one that used to wine & dine him, get him tickets to the Super Bowl and get him laid with high priced Ho’s. So, everyone on the newly won and lost account will get laid off, management will award themselves a “performance bonus.” And not a fucking thing will change. I suggest you drink your way through the weekend and show up on Monday full of piss & vinegar. Unless you have a better idea!
