My latest Quartz.com column is out today. "It's only a matter of time before something else kills our Internet." As usual, it is fucking great (He said modestly!) Actually, it concerns a subject that for the last week most of the media has assiduously skirted around for obvious reasons. Yes, Hurricane Sandy killed a lot of Internet access, ‘cos some of the server farms in New Jersey got flooded. But, as I point out in the column, for reasons the “Digerati” would prefer us to ignore, we could be looking at something much more dramatic on a national, even international basis… And it has fuck all to do with the weather. In the not too distant future, “Cloud Computing” could very well end up being “Catastrophe Computing.” And “Big Data” could be a “Big Disaster!” Check out Quartz.com, and as loyal AdScamers… Tell them how fucking much you like the site, particularly when I’m shooting off my pie hole!
Just your average Google server farm!
