Just to put you in a post Thanksgiving happy mood, it was announced yesterday that U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Robert Drainin in White Plains, N.Y., approved Hostess's wind-down plan a day after the Twinkies and Ho Hos maker and its striking bakery-workers union failed to reach an agreement in a court-ordered mediation session. Which means the company’s 18,000 employees have been fired immediately. This after the union has agreed to numerous reductions in hourly rates and benefits over the last few years. But hey… That’s what fucking capitalism is all about… Right? Maybe they should have tried crowdsourcing the manufacture of this toxic treat. Victors & Spoils anyone. Speaking of which… I wonder how Havas’s toxic investment is working out?
Crowdsource my arse!
