As we continue to watch Facebook stock disappearing down the shitty tubes of Wall Street (at the time of writing, 1.45 PM, Friday, it’s barely hovering over $18.00.) You have to wonder what all the social media guru fucktards, who never cease shoving their pathetic prognostications in your face, are going to come up with next. Apropos, I just came across an interesting post on BoostSuite, titled… “Better to invest in your company Web site rather than social media.” Certainly rings a bell with me. It quotes a study from software company, Get Satisfaction, which found that, “for nearly 90 percent of some 2,000 consumer respondents, a company’s website — not a social network — is the preferred place to research products and find information that leads to purchasing decisions”. Their conclusion is that most people would rather seek out information via search engine because they trust Google’s results and don’t want to be spammed constantly through social media by someone or some brand they don’t know, or fucking care about. Amen to that… Or do I have to “Friend” or “Like” it… Nah, fuck that. I already know what I like!
It's Friday. Do I have to spell it out for ya?
