The comments concerning Ewanick-Gate are coming in fast and furious. Particularly interesting are the ones on my post of yesterday… “Ewanick-Gate Continues.” As AdScamer, “Re-Tired” picks up on my points about it not being possible that a company the size of General Motors would leave it to one person to negotiate, and sign for, a seven year, $600 million sponsorship deal without going through the never ending, shit storm of bureaucracy that big dumb companies breed. He also makes an interesting point, that because we the taxpayers are involved, due to use of TARP funds in the bailout, if anything dodgy has been going on, the Feds might get involved. Never forget, one of the reasons for going after Armstrong, besides his heroin addiction (Just kidding Lance) was ‘cos the USPS team was suspected of flogging bikes on eBay that had been paid for with taxpayer money. Silly boys, don’t they know, you can only get away with fucking the government if you’re a defense contractor… Then you can do it for billions!
