Over at MediaPost, a lady in account management at Leo Burnett, Chicago, has some startling observations on how Millennials, making connections through social media, “are set to be the next leaders of our nation.” She goes on that.. “Millennials realize that groups of individuals, with passion and the aid of technology, can often accomplish more together. Thus, we unite to do some of the most simple and some of the most difficult things in life.” She lists some of these possible accomplishments…
1: Saving money on a trip to Subway for a sandwich or tripping over deals for a Subway discount.
2: Finding a new book or booking a new doctor.
3: Shopping for new outfits or outfitting the inside of a new car.
4: Taking a stand for something we believe in or believing we can make a change.
OK… I’ll go with #4 and #2 at a stretch… But #1 and #3 are fucking lame. Is Subway a Burnett account? And who the fuck “outfits” a new car? If this is what the “Future Leaders of our Nation” are passionate about, we are truly in deep shit.
I outfitted the shit out of my car. Now it's Radio-Active!
