    Clients nowadays need specialist shops who can bring in the results, if not track it properly.

    No one has the cash to keep mediocre do-it-all shops on life support anymore.

    And any agency who claims to be an agency of the future with zero digital expertise or track record are lying. It doesn't matter who's making the claim.

    Don't have means don't have.

    If a client needs an agency to mirror it's own resources, why not just do all the work in-house?

    Re: "They're looking for high-quality production capabilities that provide cost efficiencies and speed to market in an error-free environment." -- BIG plug and justification for keeping his boyfriend on staff at Draftworks (no plug jokes, please).

    @AC...
    Ouch... Fucking ouch!!!
    Nasty thought!!!

    "in an error-free enviroment..."

    it must be great to have access to such potent mind-altering in such vast quantities... did he just copy and paste bits from every 'morale building' capabilities speech from circa 1985, when everyone spouted the same drivel to quell client fears about going digital (buying Macs) and what that meant to their ads, costs and process?

    LD, you're absolutely right - from 1985 to 1995 going digital was actually a reason to send out even higher bills "We're now using cutting-edge technology with specialists on each of our terminals"! What a shame the clients caught up with the digital (r)evolution; now it's "Yeah, but my PA can do this in 5 minutes in PowerPoint!".

    Draft/FCB should close its doors and send home all those old, talentless scumbags (you know who you are) who are still taking home amazing salaries and bonuses. FCB was never "hot", they did shit advertising for decades.
    Remember their travesty on Compaq? IT...Inspirational Technology! What asshole came up with that shit? And then they fucked up SAMSUNG with a bunch of traveling gypsies . . . Turn out the lights and disappear, you fuckheads.

    Funny, Adweek usually leaves a new columnist on its homepage for the entire week. It's only Wednesday and Boschetto has already been removed from the homepage. Perhaps at his request...?

    Wella, wella, wella...tidbit of trivia. Old cousin Brucie Mason, once da big cheese ball a Fcb, goes and dun buys all da employies
    computa's. Den he de-clares dat fCb is da agency a tommorrows...but OOPPS...he don't how ta turn his on! No sheet. Who sayin history don'ts repeats itself. Noffin ever changes. Stupid in--stupid out. Fair Faxie Conehead would rip his won balls off if he knew dawn a da brain dead, Howie da big bagle and Larry Butcheese were driv'n da bus. What doos Illinois, Chicago and dRaFtFcb have in common..des all FUBAR'd! Burp..Rev. Al

    @Rev Al...
    Fuck, I was worried. Haven't heard from you since Larry Butcheese dragged you into his evil gym lair. Thought you had kicked it after a STD with one of your Ho's. Ha, fucking Ha... Time for one of those fancy drinks with the miniature umbrella.
    Cheers/George
