I am overwhelmed, and well on the way to getting hammered, by the number of nice comments and emails I have been receiving through the day wishing me well on my 39th birthday ( I was only joking about being 72 in my earlier post – Ask Kate.) Much appreciated. But… If you do not wish to be condemned to douchenozzle hell, or full time employment at Draft/FCB… Which is the same fucking thing… Go buy The Ubiquitous Persuaders. It’s less than the price of a fucking Martini in Bar & Books on Hudson St. It’s also well less than that shit you keep shoving up your conk in the bathroom at the SoHo House. Speaking of which, I shall be doing a psfk thing there in August. More on this next week when I’ve sobered up. Again, many many thanks for all the kind messages. It makes working my arse off for you fucktards worthwhile. And don’t forget… Kate says buy the book. Cheers/George
But it's even better when I'm me with George!!!

Congrats on your birthday and good luck with the book sales. As always, great pic at the end of your post =]

Happy BD George. Drink, drugs, sex and passion are the right ingredients for a happy life. What the fuck happened you! :-)
Cheers,
Kieran

George, we heart you!
For always telling the truth. For being painfully honest (even when it hurts). For being consistent. For being fearless. For telling truth to power. For your delightful crankiness (and creakiness). And, most of all, for exposing the wankers, dilettantes and douchenozzles in our industry, and the rest of the world.
Happy Birthday, George. Now go get hammered!

GP,
I'm not one to suck up,
or offer happy joy joy nice sentiments......
it just feels uncomfortable to me.
but,
because we share the same disdain and disgust for all that is evil in advertising you deserve special consideration....
on that note,
stay in good health, peace out and enjoy all things that are good.
and when possible.....
get laid.
all the best.....
me

George, since the oldest living man just passed at 113, owing his longevity to “cigarettes, whisky and wild, wild women,” it’s up to you now.

Been out of town on a shoot, so just let me wish you a very happy birthday, GP.
Remember, 72 is the new 71.
