Loyal bean eaters in one of my favorite cities tell me that SEVENTY people are getting the axe today at Arnold... That's a fucking shame. Arnold has done some great work over the years, and from what I've heard, it was also a comfortable place to work, lacking the sturm und drang way too many shops seem to favor these days. But as the shit continues to hit the fan... Nothing lasts forever. They also have a very nice web site that isn't the usual fucking poseur bullshit way too many BDA's actually believe will influence people. Sorry guys, but it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

George, too bad about Arnold. Unfortunately, as we all know, layoffs in our biz are going to be the norm not the exception in the months ahead. I hope those folks will be able to find work somewhere.
I usually agree with you on various creative and strategic things, but I have to disagree with you about Arnold's site. I found it cold and boring. And, I clicked on a few leader's names to read bios and nothing was there.
Oh well!
