Enfatico blog update... If anyone gives a fuck!!!

Following on from my last post, I decided to get all the hot Enfatico news from their "reinventing the blog world" blog, nextstoryboard. Guess what? there is no fucking news, hot, warm or cold. The last post was on October 31st, that's twelve days ago. So far, it's generated ZERO fucking comments. The only other post is the original one from October 27th. That has 13 comments, half of which were obviously written by Enfatico employees and shills. I mean C'mon guys, this is fucking pathetic. Put the fucking weather forecast or pictures of your pets up there. You can also drop the search engine in the top right hand corner... I mean what the fuck would you need to search for when you have two lousy posts?

Enfatico's new tag line!

No miracles here

Every modern agency claims its looking for people with interactive skills. Enfatico was no exception. But asking for something is one thing, delivering it is another. Apparently whomever you hire. I thought a fair share of the staff and leaders were recruited from digital and interactive shops, and therefore should know better than getting mocked on other blogs for their inability to play the social game everyone is hooting about. Digiskills, another bubble.

Tore, that is totally not true ... I got into a pissing match with some idiot at a BDA about 2 weeks ago over a client we share... he didnt give a flying shit about digital... he said to me were the bigger firm.. were calling the shots ... I replied to him... they hired us to make sure you dont call the shots ... trust me on this Tore.. they dont like us.. not one inch.. especially since most of our jobs recently have been almost an oversight of their work ... its not like the agency hired us.. the client hired us to keep the no-digital skills agency from destroying their online efforts.

Thats fucking priceless. Maybe they should have disabled the search feature until there was some volume to deal with. Two posts to search, thank god I wont have to wade through mountains of shit to find that nugget of....SHIT.

Also, whats up with the lack of apostrophes in the comments? I read my comment from the other day after it posted and briefly feared I might have had a stroke. Then I noticed it wasnt just me.

Founder, that BDA guys sounds like a bloody wanker. Their AOR status does not give them license to dictate the digital creative direction. You are their equals and have the same weight on the table.

This is similar to what happened to Wunderman and DR when they did the merger. The BDA insists on calling the shot for online work and Wunderman started bleedings digital creatives and it was an interactive agency in name only.

That being said, some BDAs can pull off some surprises. Did you all see the new Sprint site by Goodsby?

The whole website is made up of tiny widgets, which can be deconstructed to become banners at other places. When you refresh the page, you will see different widgets on the same banner space.

Check it out:

Btw, for blogs and forums, best to leave it out of a creative proposal unless you are willing to commit resources to content production and moderation.

Super tedious.

Latest viral from Microsoft:

great. a main page from a cell phone company that has almost nothing about the phones or services provided, or it actually might have been there if i didnt have to wade through a mountain of shit to find it.

i dont know what they offer, but i know how many cups of coffee are being produced as i sit there, looking for pertinent info.

and there was the widget, more of the same in a smaller space... sorry that does not make a good impression. its a good idea, poorly executed. the now page becomes a relevant offering to someone if they an accessorize it with whats relevant to them, now. not what some wonk in marketing thinks is cool, relevant up-to-the minute info, like the latest crap playing on youtube.

and , please... someone shot those wipes that did that lame-ass parachuting mouse flick? as
A:most laptops now come with trackpads
and
B: more laptops are being purchased than desktops
then
C: shouldnt you be fixing Vista?????

oh yeah, enfatico... see ya, its been swell, write when you find work....

I have been in moderation since Nov. 1st!!!! And my post doesnt even have a swear word in it.

Terrence Dont Call Me Terry Boone has to be kicking himself in the ass for even starting this blog in the first place.

But, hey, youre here, youre hip. youre nationwide, baby. Suck it up and publish the posts.

Assuming this is the brief, http://tinyurl.com/5fsozp, is the work simply invisible to the rest of us? Or, is it simply taking Enfatico this long to understand it?

Hmm. Wonder who will be on hand to receive the Brand of the Year award...

Why doesnt AdAge/Adweek cover this fiasco? No, they suck up to these agencies and holding groups. Its a disgrace.

question:

which will be going under first, adweek or adage?

A1...
It takes a fearless wanker like me.
adrefugee....
Definately AdWeek.
Cheers/George
