currentTV LA shafts currentTV SF... Both fucked!
Updating my post of yesterday about the bloodbath taking place at currentTV, it would seem that sixty bodies have been given their marching orders. Apparently the whole thing has come down to a fuck-fest between the Los Angeles office and the San Francisco one. With most of the layoffs affecting the SF office, it would seem that the southern hedonists have won out over the northern poseurs. No more taking the dog to the office for you, you Tiberon house boat living, wheat grass drinking, meditating wanker!!! There will also be a lot less of that CGC shit and a lot more hip & groovy, professionally produced 30 minute programs. They'll still be shit, but it will be professional shit. Maybe they could do a merger with Honeyshed!
Who the fuck wants 30 minutes of this?
The axe is swinging all over the place. Rumor has it that DraftFCB looking at 50-75 right before the holidays.
Hey, good thing Im already out of work. Would hate to get shit canned right before Xmas!
