Exciting news from Enfatico!
You have to laugh at the fucking dumbness of the people at Enfatico. Some wanker by the name of Matt, who is the Enfatico WebHack just posted this on Adrants...
Digital Nomads is one of a range of marketing initiatives with which Enfatico is involved. We'll be sharing more shortly, so stay tuned. We're keenly aware of all the interest in our agency and hope to be more transparent about its development and client work moving forward. It is our sincere desire to be judged by the business value we create, not by the date a first ad appears. (BTW, we also agree with you that the clock should be retired.) Sincerely, Matt Hutchison.
You have to love that... "keenly aware of all the interest in our agency" Oh fucking yes... And the clock should NOT be retired!
Hi. I'm with Enfatico. Isn't that exciting?

Evidently Enfatico feels I should pull down the clock.....
What do you guys think? I updated it .. didn't retire it... do you feel it should be retired or just updated (as it is now)?

Founder...
When Enfatico actually produces some original stuff... AdScam commenters say the existing digital work, isn't theirs... And besides which, it fucking sucks... Then I'll stop posting about it... Keep the clock running.
Cheers/George

It is strange. Are these people (Matt, Richard, etc.) really representing Enfatico, or are they just spouting off on their own? You’d think they would all just keep quiet and let the work—whenever it does happen—speak for itself.

Enjoy Parker, you got a link from the clock :)

In the words of Richard Pryor (when relaying a story to Eddie Murphy about Bill Cosby):
"Richard said, "The next time the motherfucker call, tell him I said, "Suck *my* dick." I don't give a fuck. Whatever the fuck make the people laugh, say that shit. Do the people laugh when you say what you say?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Do you get paid?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Well, tell Bill I said have a Coke and a smile and shut the fuck up. Jello pudding-eating motherfucker."

The Founder,
I thought that flyer for Product(RED) HIV/AIDS was the first produced piece. Also, in the clock update, you used the wrong form of its (you used it's versus its).
Maybe you should create a clock/chart marking the times when all the alleged Enfatico representatives make online comments defending the company.

Thanks for the spelling error catch..
I can't use the Aids ad... because I called Enfatico.. and they flatly denied they had anything to do with "placing unauthorized litter on the side of buildings"
Posted by: The Founder | August 25, 2008 at 12:32 PM
Ha!
I would argue Digital Nomads is essentially like placing litter on the Web.
Posted by: Digital No Mad Men | August 25, 2008 at 01:34 PM
matt: it's good to defend the place you work, but please be serious. every day anyone goes into any office, the clock is ticking. we are alwys being measured by the ability we have to get work out in a timely fashion sometimes under great pressure.
the clock starts ticking for EVERYONE the second you get an account. time is tracked against fees and measured by output.
as for the digital nomad tripe, it's just time-sheet stuffer material. look at the hits and the frequency. they don't even take it seriously.

how is this place making money? Are they just living off a big savings acct or something? I can't believe clients are cutting these people checks for no work.
Hey...
Maybe they're geniuses after all. No work worth noting, yet you're still getting paid.
That would be great creative if i ever saw it.

The guy says, “Digital Nomads is one of a range of marketing initiatives with which Enfatico is involved.” Does he consider it to be on the excellent side of the range or the shitty side? And where’s the rest of the range?

Thought that the topic, "Enfatico", has already jumped the shark. Are there any news from the other shops?
Posted by: slowmo | August 25, 2008 at 08:21 PM
Gee I wish I could get a job at Enfatico. Can you imagine as a creative what a day must be like for Matt and his buddies?
10:15 Stroll in to work wearing hipster bowling shirt, soul patch beard and Buddy Holly glasses, carrying Venti Gande Soy Latte whatever $6.00 coffee that Starbucks makes.
10:30 Dust off Snowboard hanging on office wall and talk about how you can't wait for the season to start out west.
11:00 Chat with other "totally cool creatives" about the latest issue of Maxum Magazine and other faux cool creative chatter.
12:00 Lunch
2:00 Diddle around on internet looking at all the hotest websites and claim "that we will do better work".
4:00 Update Enfatico clock.
4:01 Enfactico staff meeting to talk about the future and how they'll change the ad world.
4:15 Check emails and write bogus press release about Enfatico.
5:05 Leave
Where do I send my book?
Posted by: Amper Sand | August 26, 2008 at 07:56 AM
i'll go one better:
i'll show up at 8:30 and leave at 6:30, but get the same amount of work done... but it'll have to be a senior spot to warrant the time in office...
maybe i'll throw in an award show or two where i can press the flesh and then go scout locations near Naples where i'd like to shoot commercials we'll never do...

Digital Nomad is such a joke. Its amazing to see that essentially a free piece of blog software can be considered a campaign. MAYBE 4 years ago.
All the "Stories" are by the same person, and there is nothing worse than a site that NO ONE uses.
I can see wooly capped skateboard rider "creative": Hey...lets start a social network around a blog about travelling stories.
Its a wonder no one will use it, because its been done over and over again.
Bottom of the barrel campaigns, but lets face it, the lame-brain that though of this one probably is too young to remember this being done 100 times before.

itsajoke,
Sadly, I’ll bet they’re actually too old to realize this has been done 100 times before.

Dear SuperDave@Enfatico.com,
Thank you so much for sending me your direct contact information, instead of making me go through another mean, nasty, wouldn't know good work-social inept gate keeper who only loves the boys.
Oh, yes I must mention that I am not one of The Boys, and I am a girl. I guess I should also mention up front, that I don't skateboard, snowboard, or in in a band and am not Brazlian.
But I do have a great book with lots of experience. Oh right, sorry that doesn't matter. Well I am really cute and I promise never to mention Color Wheel, scandal or anything like that in the hallways of Enfatico.
BTW, no matter what anyone says, the clock is totally digital-liciosly kewl.
Thanks heeps and tons! (Sent from my DELL not MAC)

Amperand, you forgot the electric guitar in the corner.
Should be a lesson learned here (from DraftFCB): When someone knocks you, IGNORE IT. Don't dig your hole any deeper, unless you like having a deep hole.

superdave is gone... just had drinks with a good buddy and dave is in the wind... he will be missed, but not by anyone here...

yeah, and all the online work you've seen for dell so far is likely done by schematic, not enfatico.
