Life's a conference!
So I am spending the day at the psfk Conference here in New York... I shall give a full report later today, or maybe tomorrow, or maybe fucking never. No, I shall do it later. In the meantime, my old mate Alan Kerr has emailed me an interesting question... Almost all of the advertising (mass media ) is shit and worse – it is irrelevant. So, in a proactive way, how do you counsel the (mainly younger) people about how to craft advertising campaigns that are both relevant, and compelling? I see you dump on stuff that is shit (and that is easy, and appropriate to do), but how do you then give them guidance as to how to do good, memorable works that is both rewarding and memorable? Well, that's a bit heavy. But it might be worth exploring later... On the other hand, they could always buy a copy of "MadScam!"
It's a fucking classic!

So I bought it. I'm going to start it tonight. Does this mean you can buy me a beer next time you're in New York? Because I think I just bought you .13 pints.
