I know this has nothing to do with advertising... Well, actually it does when you consider the massive amounts of money companies blow sponsoring major criminals masquerading as "Sports Personalities." The news today that suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones will make an appearance on a pro wrestling show Thursday after signing a contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Left me thinking... "Who gives a fuck?" Apparently, Jones was suspended in April for the 2007 season by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for conduct detrimental to the league. He dropped his appeal of that punishment in June. But here's the best bit... He has been arrested six times since being drafted by the Titans in April 2005, including June 22 when he turned himself in on two felony counts of coercion in a Las Vegas strip club fight that left a man paralyzed. That's right... He's been arrested SIX FUCKING TIMES in two years and he just got suspended!!! Now his attorney is claiming that a cop pulled him over in his orange Lamborghini because he had heard the "Pacman" had no licence... Which turned out to be true. Seems to me that if you've been arrested six times and you have no licence or insurance the last fucking thing you should be driving is an orange Lamborghini. But hey, who knows, maybe he sits too close to his laser printer! Funny thing is, Antonio Bryant of the San Francisco 49ers was arrested in 2006 for reckless driving, driving under the influence and resisting arrest. At the time, he was driving an orange Lamborghini!

The NFL hands out an automatic suspension for steroid use. Which means, according to Jones’ punishment, one steroid use is equal to six criminal arrests. Wonder if anyone is also pursuing copyright infringement for Jones’ use of the name Pac-Man.
