There is no excuse for this advertising shit!!!
A little birdie over at psfk sent me the current call for entries for the 86th Annual Art Directors Club Awards. You can see it below. Just click on it to enjoy all its glorious details. Apparently this giant fuck up of an excuse for "something clever" was created by the New York Office of TBWA/Chiat and illustrated by noted artist, Norbert Cox. Something about the world gone fucking crazy and this possibly being the last show you'll get to enter before the world blows up... Or even worse, you are forced to work for Howard Draft at Stalag Draft/FCB. I know the business is getting more fucked up by the day, but really! Between Miller's "Man-Law" campaign, Howard's "Lion Fucking" ad for Cannes, and that deodorant TV with the guy spraying chicks in the face with fetid streams of sweat from his hairy armpits... This is getting fucking stupid. Get out the 46th ADC Awards annual and take it to your room. Don't come out 'till you've looked at and absorbed all the VW, Avis, Alka Seltzer and El Al ads... And I'm talking about the stuff from the sixties, not the shit they do now.

Howard Gossage would throw you off the Bay Bridge if you showed him shit like this... Arrrggghhh!

I thought all of the dinosaurs had died in the ice age, but apparently at least one still roams the earth.
