Are you ready to kill for your playstation PS3?
OK, I have just one question… What the fuck is it with these Unter Menschen, otherwise known as “Gamers?” I mean these are the wankers that rioted, started fighting and even shooting each other outside a Wal-Mart to get a fucking Lamo Playstation PS3. Yeah, I can understand people shooting each other outside a Wal-Mart, I mean shit, someone would have to threaten to shoot me to make me go inside a fucking Wal-Mart… But that’s not the point. It’s a game console you dip shits, and in a couple of weeks they’ll be fucking discounted by fifty percent at America’s favorite hang out for sub-humans… Yes, I’m talking about Wal-Mart again! So, why would you want to riot, fight and fucking shoot each other to get your greasy, reeking fast food stinking hands on one? Jesus, do I sound like a snob here? Well, yes. There are people dying in Darfur… Where be that? So fuck you and the Playstation PS3 you just killed someone to get. Arrrgghh!!!
Yeah... I would risk spending the rest of my fucking miserable life on death row for that little sucker!

In America we fear boredom and solitude, so we stand in line and on line for hours chasing it. In war torn parts of the world they fear hunger and explosions, so they spend time on the run trying to find the opposite. How else would the world go round.

While your argument is valid, your elitist (and ever-so-slightly racist) overtones are a little disturbing.

Hey Randy
If thinking that because I consider people who are prepared to kill each other for a gaming system are cretins makes me a racist... Well, fuck it... I'm a racist. Although, on re-reading my post, I fail to find anything racist about it. Unless you consider people who shop at Wal-Mart are primarily of some non-caucasian strain... In which case, that makes you a racist.
Oh, and fuck off.
Cheers/George

George! You have done it again. Made me LOL!
Bravo!
The FCC fines a major network for allowing Super Bowl viewers to see an exposed breast for 9/16ths of a second and on the other hand we find TV shows that feature gun violence receiving zero criticism and being showered with accolades. TV dehumanizes viewers against violence (imho) and the PS3 feature games are all about military shooters and other prime gun violence games (top rated). Weird beyond words (imho). The Wii release was just the opposite of the PS3 mob scene. Social networking and many games with minimum gun (gasp!) violence.

Does this guy think that gamers were the ones doing the shooting? I think not. It was the people who wanted to buy/steal the system so they could go sell it, and make profit. Not the people who were going to take it home to play games on. (It does play games right?)
Oh, and the comment that in a couple weeks it will be marked down 50%, what is that guy smoking? The PS3, if there are any more shipments in the next couple weeks will continue to be $600. The PS3 will probably continue to be $600 for the next year. The only way a price drop might happen, is if sony ps3 are sitting on a shelf, not getting sold, and it is getting outsold by the 360. Does that guy think his harsh language is helping make his point? hardly.

I do have to agree alot of what Drizzt has to say.
A) Of the, say, 2000+ units that were being sold - 90% of the people were capitalist. Did you know that the first PS3 on Ebay went for 10G's - thats rediculous.
B) It is true that the PS3 will not drop in price any time soon - but there will be another shipment in before Christmas - bottom line some people don't have patience and would rather dish out the 10G's just to keep the lil boy...or girl...happy. I read somewhere that happiness is truely priceless...I beg to differ :P
So even though I do see where your coming from, but I do have to say that you did make some 'uneducated' assumptions. And the swearing...not cool.
Have a great day :D

I think it's crazy myself, especially with all the games availalble online for free or at a fraction of the cost...
