Is it just me, or does anyone else find the current HP advertising, weak. ineffective and just plain shitty. All this bullshit about “The Computer is Personal again” is as I posted yesterday, really fucking old. Then I open today’s New York Times and there’s an almost unreadable ad with 6 point type reversed out of black, this weird shaky hand drawn graphic and a fucking headline that reads… "A Notebook that Works as Hard as You Do.” Holy shit… that is the oldest cliché in the book. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve seen that chestnut, I’d be a millionaire. And if you are by any chance dumb enough to go to the regular HP web site, it bears absolutely no resemblance to the advertising whatsoever. So much for “Integrated Communications!” Gary…. What the fuck is going on?
